SUNDIAL IN VAL MÜSTAIR

In 2019 I was allowed to install this precision sundial near Lü in Val Müstair. Hikers, astronomy enthusiasts and locals alike enjoy the gift from a customer to the community of Lü.

TECHNOLOGY

The special shape of the gnomon ensures that our Central European time can be read to the minute on a fine scale. The body consists of an aluminium-magnesium alloy. The gnomon is turned from solid aluminum.
